Town of Tonawanda Supervisor’s Corruption is EXPOSED!!!
In this exclusive story, the Town of Tonawanda Police Club exposes the blatant conflicts of interests committed by Town Supervisor Joe Emminger, who retained a law firm that has contributed thousands of dollars to his own political campaign and the Town of Tonawanda Democrats, to conduct an erroneous and politically motivated investigation of our police force.
This investigation denied over 40 police officers, who have now been subjected to hundreds of dollars in fines, their right to due process.
The question the taxpayers should be asking is:
HOW MUCH OF YOUR TAX DOLLARS ARE BEING SPENT ON THIS LAW FIRM TO PERSECUTE AND VIOLATE THE EMPLOYMENT AND CIVIL RIGHTS OF OUR POLICE FORCE?
Joe “Pay to Play” Emminger must be held accountable!
Call Joe at (716) 877-8804 and demand the answers you deserve!

These are just a few examples of the politcal contributions made by Goldberg and Segalia to Supervisor Emminger and the Democratic Committee
I am running for the Town Board this Fall as an Independent on the "Community First" party line. I am asking for signatures from registered voters of any political affiliation from the Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore to get on the ballot. If you are interested in signing, please send me your contact info and either myself or a volunteer will stop by at your convenience. It's time for change.
He should pay back every officer that he fined. I just don’t understand why the town board has put up his shenanigans. Sounds like we need a new town board.
He is an embarrassment to the Town of Tonawanda. Get rid of him and town board.
Joe is hurting our town more than he’s ever helped it since he’s been in office !!
No surprises that a Pay to Play scheme has come into this situation. Joe Emminger is a politician and a Democrat in a Blue State. That’s how the dirty games are played here, taking his cues from the Albany cesspool. The rest of the Town Board are simply Yes men, nodding agreements to Joe’s will, and not bright enough to see that this move has damaged any other political aspirations they may have had. And certainly not bright enough to understand all the ramifications of trying to undermine the credibility of the Town’s Police Department. News of this fiasco was not just local reporting. This made National news! This is damaging to the growth of our Town and to its future tax base. Potential new businesses and residents reading that reportage and not knowing the truth may well think twice before locating here. It is a big black eye for Tonawanda, most certainly an insult to an excellent Police Department, and insults the intelligence of current taxpayers that the Town Board thinks we are too stupid to figure this out. Politicians who think they are the smartest ones in the room will quickly find out they aren’t in the room much longer. Remember their scams when you go to the voting polls in November and support our local Police Department who earn your support every single day.
According to the Taylor law, the town supervisor is supposed to make the decision. There is no option in the law for a firm to make the investigation nor the decision. Why was any law firm hired, or given a blank check by the town?
Emminger never thought that anybody would actually look into something like that. Such a scummy thing to do with all we have going on right now.
Connect the dots… Look at other law firms the Town has hired and the attorneys that work for them.
What's so surprising, is that there are absolutely ZERO law firms in the area that have not donated to his campaign. Goodness, they must have billions of dollars by now.
He kept getting voted in because he had no one running against him. Time to go. Too much power. Thankfully he won't be running again.
Not surprising
Amazing how these people get re elected every time!
Give it up, Joe
Gotta love those democraps!
Joe Emminger also allowed certain town residents to harass neighbors of theirs because they had a secret about Joe Emminger. He should be held accountable
F democrats! Stop voting these idiots onto our board! There’s no leadership in the town anymore…they’re all failing! Time to get them out! I’m tired of elected officials thinking they dictate to us, the people! Support our men and women of our great police force!
Yikes
Disgusted

“On behalf of the Town of Tonawanda Police Club, we proudly support the Buffalo Police Benevolent Association’s endorsement of Mayor Chris Scanlon in his campaign for Mayor of Buffalo.
As a town that directly borders the City of Buffalo, we are a stakeholder in the safety and effectiveness of law enforcement in the city. What happens in Buffalo doesn’t stop at the city line — it impacts the entire region. That’s why it’s crucial to have a mayor who supports strong, professional policing and understands the value of law and order.
Mayor Scanlon has shown time and again that he is a true partner to law enforcement. His support for public safety, officer training, and practical policing strategies has already had a positive impact in Buffalo. He understands the role police officers play in building stronger communities, and he’s taken meaningful steps to ensure they have the tools and support they need to do the job right.
We commend the Buffalo PBA for their endorsement and proudly stand with them in supporting Mayor Chris Scanlon
— a leader who not only backs the badge, but backs it with action.”
Respectfully,
Andy Thompson
